Apprentice Scaffolder – MTS Scaffolding Ltd

Location: Longhope, Forest of Dean, Gloucester
Job Type: Full-Time Apprenticeship
Salary: Competitive Apprenticeship Rate (with progression opportunities)

Start Your Career in Scaffolding

We are a growing scaffolding company looking for a motivated and hardworking Apprentice Scaffolder to join our team through an apprenticeship scheme with Weston College. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, gain industry-recognised qualifications, and build a long-term career in the construction industry.

Working alongside experienced scaffolders, you will receive hands-on training while assisting with the erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffold structures on a variety of residential and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting scaffolders with the safe erection and dismantling of scaffolding.
Loading, unloading, and transporting scaffolding materials.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Learning industry standards and best practices.
Attending apprenticeship training and completing coursework as required.

What We’re Looking For

Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Good level of physical fitness.
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
No previous scaffolding experience required – full training will be provided.

Licence/Certification:

UK Driving Licence (preferred) If you do not have a driving licence or your own transport then you will need to ensure you can make your own travel arrangements to get to Longhope Business Park by 06:30am and picked up around 3:30pm/4:00pm

Work Location: On-site across various locations.

Pay: £8.00-£10.00 per hour
