Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess good organisational skills, and have a positive attitude. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid and offer opportunities for professional growth within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events
Assist in setting up and clearing tables when required
Manage multiple tasks effectively during peak hours, demonstrating excellent time management skills

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional manner
Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and health & safety standards (training provided if necessary)
A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
