Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data within our systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills and proficiency in various computer applications to contribute to the smooth operation of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Inputting data into databases, spreadsheets, and specialised software with precision and efficiency
Verifying the accuracy of data entered by cross-referencing source documents
Maintaining organised records and filing systems for easy retrieval of information
Assisting with administrative tasks such as updating records, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
Responding to internal queries regarding data entries and providing support where needed
Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and organisational policies
Collaborating with team members to improve data management processes

Skills

Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with data entry tasks and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong typing skills with high accuracy and speed
Good phone etiquette and communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients
Attention to detail to minimise errors in data processing
Previous clerical experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is important

Pay: £26,420.00-£43,398.88 per year
