Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Seasonal Event Crew Members to join our team at the Rougham Estate Pick Your Own Sunflower Field. This is a varied, customer-facing role helping to deliver a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for visitors during our busy summer season. Successful applicants will be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and willing to assist with a wide range of event and site duties. This event is operational 7 days a week, so weekend work and weekday work will be required. You will not be required to work 7 days a week, staff with be in a rota.

Duties

Welcome and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Operate tills and process customer transactions accurately.
Rent out, collect, and manage equipment for visitors.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the site.
Carry out litter picking and general housekeeping duties.
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the event.
Assist with visitor enquiries and provide information when required.
Run errands and undertake general operational tasks around the site.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Requirements

Must be aged 18 years or over.
Positive, friendly, and approachable attitude.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or events is desirable but not essential.
Physically fit and capable of being on your feet throughout the working day.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
