The Role:
To provide comprehensive, efficient administrative support to the STFC-funded Naval Families public engagement project, as well as to external partners and stakeholders. This includes maintaining and updating key project records and documentation, supporting procurement processes and order placement, booking travel, making event arrangements and sourcing information for all aspects of the project delivery.

The role will involve active participation in the project team meetings, ensuring smooth coordination at all stages.

In addition, the postholder will support the PI of the award (Jen Gupta), programme manager and ICG by administering project-related activities and ensuring effective day-to-day operations. This position is fully funded through the STFC.

This a part time role working 18.5 hours per week, we can be flexible with shift patterns within regular working hours.

This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 01 March 2028.

Salary Information:
New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
