Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to support our bartending team in delivering exceptional service. The Barback plays a vital role in ensuring the bar runs smoothly and efficiently by assisting bartenders, maintaining cleanliness, and replenishing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Bartenders: Assist bartenders with drink preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area.
Stock Management: Ensure the bar is well-stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; restock as needed throughout shifts.
Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness by washing glassware, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with Events: Support bar operations during special events and busy periods, ensuring all needs are met promptly.
Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and company policies regarding safe serving practices.

Qualifications:

Must be 18+.
Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages.
Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ambition to consistently improve and willingness to learn is highly recommended.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A positive attitude and a team player mindset.
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and regulations.
