Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, energetic and enthusiastic person for our cafe in the heart of Dawlish.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food and customer service.

Experience is preferred but a confident, outgoing disposition is essential.

The job will include weekend shifts and available weekday shifts through the summer.

Ideal for a summer job or anyone looking to carry forward alongside studying in the autumn.

Immediate trial for the right applicant.

Duties

Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Perform basic maths to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
Able to work under pressure effectively in a fast pace environment

Requirements

Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred
A friendly and cheerful disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
