Job description:

Baker / Bakery Assistant needed.

MJ Bakery Ltd, the home of Teoni's Cookies, are looking to recruit a Baker / Bakery Assistant to work in our busy, growing cookie factory in Exning, Newmarket.

The right candidate needs to be passionate about what they do with a good eye for detail.

Applicants must be reliable, methodical, organised and keen to work as a team, or on their own.

This is a hands-on role and involves physical work - lifting sacks of sugar, flour, oats etc.

We are looking for candidates who are:

Ideally experienced in the bakery/food industry, although this is not essential, as full training will be given.
Enthusiastic, reliable and great team players.
Able to work to tight deadlines.
Able to carry out physical work.

Working hours:

Flexibility required based on the needs of the business week on week.
32 - 40 hour week.

Job type: Full time, permanent

Salary negotiable based on experience.

Schedule:

Day shift.
Monday to Friday.

Experience:

Baking: 1 year (preferred).
Food handling.

Skills:

Proficient in food preparation methods.
Understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
Strong teamwork skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.

Pay: £12.21-£16.48 per hour
