Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Oversee food production processes, including preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock control efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to safety procedures at all times
Serve as a role model for professionalism, hospitality, and customer service within the team

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment
Extensive food production and culinary experience with strong cooking skills
Demonstrated team management abilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff
Expertise in food preparation techniques across various cuisines
Solid understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Previous restaurant experience with a focus on hospitality and serving guests effectively
