Forage and Season Group, where the heart of our philosophy is embedded in the Wild, Seasonal and Artisan ethos that shapes every aspect of our offerings. From the seasonal dishes served in our restaurant, to the innovative cooking and foraging courses at our Cook School, our passion for excellence is unwavering.

We have opened a new venue located between 2 large American USAF bases serving US/UK classic and focussing on smoke BBQ.

We are now looking for hardworking individuals, with serious talent and drive to join us and help us continue our journey.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Passionate about food - especially high quality seasonal produce? Maybe fed up with endless shifts and poor working conditions? Looking to move up the ladder or reignite your flame?

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

Working closely with our group Head chef, but responsible for developing, preparing and delivering bbq smoke food. Focusing seriously high quality & seasonality, as we as preserving techniques to ensure we can make use of nature's bounty all year round.
Help develop as well as get involved in additional projects often involving filming (Our sister company is a media firm, so lots of video and social media opportunities to expand reach.)
Ensure the kitchens and other food preparation/storage areas maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards and ensure compliance in these and other areas.

Reporting to: Head Chef

REQUIREMENTS:

Serious food knowledge & skill with proven experience in high-end kitchen environment (experience or passion for meat / BBQ / or smoked foods).
Food lover, seasonal produce fan + buckets of passion.
Strong communications skills are essential, not only within the kitchen team but also engaging with customers, offering insights into the menu’s dishes and the stories behind them to diners.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
