Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dessert Maker / Crew Member to join our vibrant culinary team. This role involves preparing a variety of delicious desserts, assisting with food production, and ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in baking and food preparation, with a focus on delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills while contributing to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble a wide range of desserts, including cakes, pastries, and specialised treats, following established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food production activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, ovens, and other baking tools
Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks simultaneously and maintaining a positive attitude
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Assist with inventory management by organising ingredients and supplies as needed

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in bakery or dessert production is advantageous
Experience working in a restaurant or café setting will be considered beneficial
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
A genuine interest in culinary arts, baking, or patisserie is highly desirable
