Overview

Would you like to be part of a fun and exciting independent business? Then joining the Charlie's team is for you!

Day to day :

We serve brunch in the day and small plates in the evening. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and a either a back ground in vegetarian / vegan cooking or an extreme interest in it, they will also have a flexible schedule, so that the whole team can have a good work / life balance, and be available mornings and evenings.

Duties

Prep and plating of food, adhering to established recipes and standards
Support food production activities, including cooking, plating, and portioning of dishes
Supervise and coordinate team members during service periods to ensure smooth operations - depending on position
Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas throughout shifts
Working with seasonal, local and ethical produce - making the vegetable the star not the side

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality environments
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members
Good communication skills with all team - FOH and BOH and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
