Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our summer school programme at an International Language School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players’ skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young athletes and contribute to their personal and athletic development through organised training sessions and competitive matches.

Duties

Plan and deliver training sessions developed by PSG Academy, tailored to different age groups and skill levels
Develop customised coaching programmes to improve technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
Motivate players to achieve their personal best while emphasising sportsmanship and teamwork
Organise and oversee team practices, matches, and tournaments in accordance with league regulations
Monitor player progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain detailed records of development
Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines during training and matches
Foster a positive environment that encourages discipline, respect, and enjoyment of the game
Collaborate with School staff, or organisation officials to support player welfare and programme objectives

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within football or similar team sports
Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players of varied ages and abilities
Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules of football, and player development strategies
Previous experience organising training sessions, matches, or tournaments is desirable
A recognised coaching qualification or relevant sports coaching certification is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates

This role is ideal for individuals committed to nurturing young talent while promoting healthy competition and personal growth through sport.

Pay: £17.50-£25.00 per hour
