Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Window Cleaner to join our team. This role involves cleaning windows of various heights and building types, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a physically active role with potential for career growth within the cleaning industry.

Window Cleaner – Part-Time Role (1 week Paid training )

48 window cleans per month
12 houses per shift
4 working days per month
8.5-hour shift (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Working hours: 8 hours per shift
Work schedule:
2 shifts in the 2nd week of the month
2 shifts in the 4th week of the month
Days: Saturday or Sunday (fixed days agreed with the employer and remain the same each month)
Pay: £6.25 per house cleaned
Monthly earnings: £300 (48 houses × £6.25)
Total working time: 32 hours per month
Approx 30 Min per clean
All equipment will be supplied
Fully insured

Responsibilities

Clean windows on both residential and commercial premises, including high-rise buildings using appropriate safety equipment.
Use specialised cleaning tools and solutions to achieve streak-free, spotless results.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed when working at heights or on scaffolding.
Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide excellent customer service.
Manage time effectively to complete scheduled jobs within designated timeframes.
Keep work areas tidy and ensure all waste is disposed of responsibly after each job.

Skills

Valid driving licence preferred, with the ability to travel between sites efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods.
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are maintained.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols.
Organised approach to scheduling and time management for multiple appointments throughout the day.

Pay: £12.75 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Manchester (Greater Manchester)
