Our Team:
You will be part of our VECC Team (Volunteering, Employment and Community Connectors) working collaboratively to deliver a coordinated, county-wide, strengths-based service. The team focuses on reducing reliance on statutory services by enabling people to access inclusive community opportunities, reducing barriers that limit participation, and supporting individuals to achieve meaningful outcomes through a joined‑up, person‑centred approach.

The Role

We are looking for a Community Connector who will work directly with individuals with learning disabilities, neurodivergent conditions, mental health conditions, or other disabilities.
You will act as a bridge between people, their families or carers, and the rich network of community resources available across Carmarthenshire.
In this role, you will help reduce social isolation, foster a sense of belonging, and support people to build confidence, independence, and wellbeing through meaningful community connections.

You will bring and share:
Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support.
Experience of partnership working across a broad range of settings, ideally in both a support, training and or recruitment/employment context.
An understanding of local communities and the challenges they may face.
