Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel, The Lodge by Cefn Tilla. This is our 13-room sister hotel to our main wedding venue, Cefn Tilla Court, 1 mile away. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests, contributing to an exceptional hospitality experience.

Previous hotel experience is ESSENTIAL. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional team committed to delivering outstanding service.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are spotless and well-maintained
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and guest amenities
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Maintain laundry organisation
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment

Skills

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is essential with a 2 year minimum.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting is essential as often will be solo working but will have additional help after busy weddings.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is essential
Flexibility to work various shifts over any days including mornings and afternoons as required by the business needs.

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for guests. We value professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude in all our team members.

16 hours min. a week, days vary due to the business needs so the individual would need to be flexible and willing to work weekends if needed.

Driving essential due to rural area.
