Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant (Days) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to residents in a care home environment, ensuring their well-being, comfort, and dignity. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by delivering personalised care tailored to individual needs. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering excellent care during daytime hours.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Support residents with meal preparation and feeding, respecting individual dietary requirements.
Help implement and follow personalised care plans in collaboration with the care team.
Encourage social interaction and participation in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Support residents in maintaining independence whilst providing necessary assistance.

Requirements

Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Valid driving licence is preferred to support transportation needs if required.
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes are necessary.
Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in caring for others.
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately.
Flexibility to work during daytime hours, supporting the needs of residents during the day shift. This role offers an enriching environment where you can develop your skills while making a positive impact on residents' lives through dedicated care and support.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
