Full job description

Experienced Vehicle Mechanic Required-

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy used car dealership and MOT/Repair centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out cambelt replacements independently
Performing vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
Preparing vehicles to a high standard ready for retail sale
Identifying and advising on any additional work required
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer specifications
Diagnose faults using manufacturer's diagnostic equipment
Complete warranty work in line with brand repair order guidelines
Perform vehicle health checks and accurately report findings
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards
Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation

Requirements:

Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic
Confident in diagnostics and cambelt replacements without supervision
Ability to work efficiently and manage workload independently
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Full UK driving licence (essential)
