Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Butcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and processing meat products to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations, excellent knife skills, and experience in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal applicant will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cut meat products according to specified standards and customer requirements
Ensure all meat is processed efficiently, safely, and hygienically in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butchery area, including tools and equipment
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or assisting in retail settings (if applicable)

Requirements

Proven experience in butchery
Skilled in preparing, cutting, and presenting a wide range of meats
Friendly, reliable, and able to provide excellent customer service.
Able to work efficiently as part of a team and maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
