Full job description

Bike and Boot is a new leisure - orientated hotel brand for the 21st Century that directly addresses the UK leisure market in a way that no other operator is presently doing. It has a modern approach to the general consumer market and it addresses well - defined consumer groups.

Bike and Boot includes:

.A Budget- Luxe hotel with design-led bedrooms.

. Self check-in & check-out.

. A Retreat lounge for residents guests only, providing complimentary refreshments 24-hrs a day.

. A Bareca - an all-day bar and grill operation, trading to the local market as well as hotel guests, with a menu featuring casual all-day food, pizza, pasta and grills - and a host of original cocktails.

. A Wadobi - specialist facilities for walkers, dog owners, cyclists, vintage car drivers and motorcyclists - with secure storage, drying room and maintenance facilities.

. A Film Club - showing films three times a day for hotel guests.

Front Hall Hosts are the first and last people our guests interact with and they play a vital role in the customer experience. They coordinate the daily operations of the hotel and help to fill the customer gaps in customer experience or knowledge. You are there to make a positive difference to our customer experience. Focusing on the customer rather than the paperwork and processing. We like to say they do peoplework, not paperwork.

. To fulfil your shift duties to ensure that the Bike and Boot operating standards and coordinate effectively with other departments to facilitate the professional operation of the hotel.

. To dealt with Front Hall queries from guests relating to their use of the hotel.

. To fulfil the shift check list for early and late shifts when on operational duty.

. To act in a coordinated and cooperative way with colleagues from all departments to coordinate and enhance the customer experience.

. Excellent knowledge of the locality of the hotel, including visitor attractions and local events.

. A detailed understanding of the hotel booking and billing system, the website and EPoS system

. Excellent knowledge of the working process of the hotel as a whole and of other departments to impart knowledge and lend assistance to guests and colleagues alike.

. Dependability - Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

. Attention to detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.

. Integrity - you must be honest and ethical.

. Self Control - maintaining composure , keeping emotions in check, avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.68 per hour
