Full job description

Locations: Horncastle & Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break, plus two 15-minute breaks)
Contract: Full-time immediate start required.

About the role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse Operatives. The role involves the manual dismantling of commercial refrigeration equipment collected from across the UK, along with general warehouse duties.

You will work across both our Horncastle and Woodhall Spa sites and must have your own transport, as there are no public transport links to the Woodhall Spa site.

This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team.

Key responsibilities
Manually dismantling refrigeration and related equipment using hand tools and power tools
Safely handling, moving, loading and unloading heavy and bulky items
Assisting with general warehouse duties including packing, sorting, and waste disposal
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised at all times
Ensuring materials are stored, labelled, and processed correctly
Following all health and safety procedures, company standards, and instructions
Working efficiently to meet daily operational targets
Contributing positively to team performance and workflow
What we are looking for
Ability to work well as part of a team
Good timekeeping and reliability
Physically fit and able to carry out manual, physically demanding work
Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
Good hand-eye coordination and practical skills
Awareness of health and safety in a warehouse environment
Honest, dependable, and hardworking attitude
Desirable skills (not essential)
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Experience in a warehouse or manual labour environment
Ability to drive Luton vans
Additional information

This role involves regular heavy lifting and manual work. Applicants must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and maintaining a consistent level of productivity.

Pay: £13.05 per hour
