We need someone who enjoys being in the office, out on site, solving problems, communicating with clients and keeping multiple projects running smoothly.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing multiple construction and maintenance projects from initial instruction through to completion.
This is a fast-paced position where no two days are the same. You will be expected to take ownership of your projects, communicate effectively with clients and contractors, maintain excellent organisation and ensure every project is delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard.
You’ll be working closely with our office team, surveyors, clients, subcontractors and operatives to keep everything moving efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Manage multiple construction and maintenance projects from start to finish.
- Plan works, allocate labour and coordinate subcontractors.
- Liaise with clients, surveyors, suppliers and the internal office team.
- Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
- Ensure projects remain on programme and within budget.
- Identify risks early and implement practical solutions.
- Organise materials, plant and labour requirements.
- Produce and maintain project programmes and records.
- Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety legislation.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout each project.
- Manage variations and communicate any changes clearly to clients.
- Attend site meetings when required.
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients and contractors.
- Ensure projects are handed over to an exceptional standard.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience managing construction or maintenance projects.
- Strong understanding of domestic and commercial building works.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Experience with refurbishment and planned maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical installations.
- Experience using construction management software.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- First Aid qualification.
