Job Overview

Eurogreen Environmental Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking Telehandler Operator to join our team at our Worthing site. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the yard, ensuring landscape products are bagged, stored, and loaded efficiently while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently throughout the site.
Bagging landscape products to meet daily production requirements.
Loading lorries with bagged products and bulk landscaping materials.
Loading small vans with loose aggregates and bagged products.
Maintaining a good stock of bagged products ready for customer collections and deliveries.
Preparing and bagging products for the following day's loading schedule.
Keeping the front yard, loading areas, and storage areas clean, tidy, and well organised.
Ensuring the yard operates efficiently and safely at all times.
Carrying out routine telehandler maintenance, including:
Daily inspections
Greasing
Checking oil, fuel, and fluid levels
Reporting defects promptly
Maintaining the telehandler in a clean and serviceable condition.
Following all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience operating a telehandler.
Valid telehandler certificate/licence (preferred).
Experience working within a yard, landscaping, construction, or aggregates environment.
Good awareness of health and safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

They will be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and capable of managing a varied workload to support the smooth running of the yard and delivery operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour
