3.5T Vehicle Recovery Driver – Full Time, Permanent
Location: York Depot

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated 3.5T Vehicle Recovery Drivers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our York Depot. We have immediate vacancies available for the right candidates.

About the Role

As a Vehicle Recovery Driver, you will be responsible for attending roadside recoveries, safely loading and transporting vehicles, and delivering them to the customer's chosen destination. You will be providing a professional and courteous service while ensuring vehicles are recovered safely and efficiently.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a valid UK driving licence with entitlement to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
Have previous experience driving 3.5T vehicles.
Ideally have experience within the vehicle recovery industry; however, full training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Have basic mechanical knowledge or experience, as this will be beneficial when assessing and recovering vehicles.
Be reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
Be able to pass a DBS (formerly CRB) background check.

Working Hours

This role operates on a 4-day working week, consisting of four 10-hour shifts. Shifts include a mixture of day and late shifts, with Alternate weekend working required on a rota basis.
