Nova Healthcare Solutions Ltd is a CQC registered organisation that provides remote support to primary healthcare services through workflow management and medicines optimisation.
The Remote Care Coordinator Coder (non-clinician) is required to provide administrative support in workflow management. The postholder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including reviewing, highlighting, coding and actioning workflow documents as requested by a supervisor.
The role is full time and fully remote. Current working hours are 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday. Full training is provided.
In this round of recruitment we are looking for individuals with recent Emis web, Docman or SystmOne experience. Applicants with experience on all software are also welcome to apply.
Workflow processing
- To work within set parameters to ensure workflow documents have been uploaded to the correct patient records by the host practice and are legible.
- To appropriately code workflow documents using SNOMED CT codes.
- To follow Nova Healthcare Solutions Ltd policies in managing workflow documents and action any documents in adherence to Nova Healthcare Solutions Ltd protocols.
- To ensure that workflow is processed in line with department key performance indicators and individual targets.
- To ensure workflow is processed to the highest standard in keeping with patient safety.
Administration
- To check emails on a daily basis and produce standard letters, emails and collect information using available IT packages in line with current procedures.
- To maintain and file accurately all data, documents and correspondence required for the operation of the service.
- To ensure any claims for overtime are submitted, and other financial claim forms in line with current procedures.
- To ensure adherence to lone working procedures as required.
Customer care
- To contribute effectively to delivering a first-class customer focused service.
- To effectively use the computer software provided.
- To follow Nova’s complaint reporting procedures always taking ownership and highlighting any errors made.
Service development
- To work as an individual and within a team to contribute towards service improvement and achieving and maintaining CQC standards.
- To represent Nova Healthcare Solutions Ltd positively at all times in communication and meetings with professional and external agencies.
- To highlight to your line manager any issues of quality, risk and instances of conflict between Nova Healthcare Solutions Ltd procedures and CQC / client requirements.
- To assess own performance and take accountability for own actions, either directly or under supervision.
- To contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team’s performance
- To work effectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients' needs.
- To effectively manage own time, workload and resources.
Miscellaneous
- To carry out efficiently all associated tasks to support the smooth running of the service that may be assigned to you by a supervisor.
