Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant/Cook. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Duties

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
Cook and assemble dishes according to specified recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Support meal preparation during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
Help with stock rotation and inventory checks to minimise waste
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe working environment

Skills

Experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
