Job Description: Grub Fresh Food is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Catering Assistant, you will support both our corporate catering services and café operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has a passion for food, and thrives in a team setting.

********Please note early starts 5am is when the working day starts********

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for corporate events.
Set up and break down catering stations, buffets, and dining areas for corporate functions.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, catering areas, and café.
Support chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking for both catering and café operations.
Serve food and beverages to guests and café customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Assist in the packing, transporting, and unpacking of catering equipment and supplies.
Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
Provide excellent customer service and address any guest or customer inquiries or concerns.
Assist with daily café tasks, including taking orders, cashiering, and restocking supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Catering Manager and Café Supervisor.

Requirements:

Previous experience in corporate catering, hospitality, or food service is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required for transporting catering supplies and equipment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
