Full job description

Based at an award winning wedding venue in Usk, Monmouthshire, we are seeking a dedicated part time cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the property with a Manor House and a newly built reception venue and the occasional help across 9 holiday cottages. We also have a 13 room hotel 1 mile away and work here may be required from time to time.

Previous and recent experience is ESSENTIAL. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including kitchens, floors and surfaces.
Ensure restrooms are hygienic and well-stocked with supplies
Maintain cleanliness of communal spaces.
Dispose of waste appropriately.
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment

Essential Experience

Prior recent experience in a professional setting is essential
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as efficiently within a team environment
A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness

This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a reliable role within the cleaning sector.

The main days for this role are Friday and Sunday with possibly an additional through the week- please do not apply if you cannot do these days.

More hours possibly available during wedding season and we are looking for immediate start.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
