Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Activity Leader and ignite enthusiasm through engaging, energetic activities designed to inspire and motivate participants of all ages. In this role, you will plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational and sports activities that promote teamwork, physical fitness, and fun. Your passion for sports coaching, teaching, and creating memorable experiences will help foster a positive environment where participants can develop new skills, build confidence, and enjoy active participation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your leadership skills in a vibrant setting.

Duties

Lead and facilitate a wide range of sports, games, and recreational activities tailored to different age groups and skill levels
Develop engaging activity plans that promote teamwork, physical health, and social interaction
Provide clear instructions and demonstrate proper techniques to ensure safety and understanding during activities
Monitor participant engagement, offer encouragement, and adapt activities as needed to maintain enthusiasm
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with safety guidelines and organizational policies
Maintain equipment and activity spaces in a clean, safe, and organized manner
Communicate effectively with participants, parents, or guardians regarding activity details and safety procedures

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching or leading recreational activities is highly desirable
Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants
Knowledge of human anatomy related to physical activity and injury prevention is a plus
Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt activities to accommodate varying skill levels and needs
