Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts and committed to delivering exceptional breakfast experiences to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a range of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, pastries, and other specialised dishes
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing as required
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or supply issues promptly
Serve breakfast dishes to guests in a courteous and professional manner
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Adhere to food safety standards at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food hygiene regulations
Experience in meal preparation for breakfast menus preferred
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Previous experience in serving or customer service is advantageous
Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are desirable but not essential
