Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, providing excellent service while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. Previous experience is preferred, but not essential, a positive attitude and strong organisational skills are a must.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped at all times.
Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business.
Follow safety and hygiene standards diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or service is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is valued.
Strong knowledge of serving techniques and preparation is desirable.
Good understanding of safety standards and hygiene practices.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests.
Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude towards customer service.
