Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various manual tasks across our site, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic working environment. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to diverse projects while gaining valuable experience.

Responsibilities

Assisting with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
Supporting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks
Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment
Moving materials around the site safely and efficiently
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work environment
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Operating basic machinery or tools as required, subject to training and competence
Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly

Requirements

Previous experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not essential
Good physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks and lifting
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
Basic understanding of health and safety standards on-site
Relevant certifications or licences (such as CSCS card) are desirable but not mandatory
