Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and extensive experience in food preparation. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations
Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu items
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage practices
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations
Assist in menu planning and development to introduce innovative culinary offerings
Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to guests

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Skilled in food production techniques and culinary arts
Experience in serving guests with professionalism and courtesy
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
