Full job description

We have a great opportunity for a part-time Receptionist to join our team in Altrincham town centre on a Thursday and Friday each week. This role will work alongside a full-time Receptionist and another part-time Receptionist who works Monday to Wednesday.

McHale Legal Ltd provide a broad range of Legal services for both the business industry and private clients. We pride ourselves on our ‘can do’ approach to our clients’ needs and our ability to offer support and advice.

Position Overview

As a Receptionist you will be the first point of contact at our firm. Based at the front desk, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff. You will be answering and directing calls, managing meeting room bookings, greeting clients, and providing administrative support to the team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

· Meet and greet clients, providing a welcoming and professional first impression

· Answer and transfer incoming telephone calls; take and relay messages as required

· Prepare and serve refreshments for clients and visitors

· Open, sort, and distribute incoming post

· Frank and process outgoing post

· Ensure meeting rooms are clean, tidy, and prepared for client and internal meetings

· Monitor stationery and office supplies; place orders as required to maintain stock levels

· Perform general office duties and provide ad-hoc support as requested

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Pleasant and professional telephone manner

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (desirable)

· Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
