Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Removals Driver to join our dynamic and friendly team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting customers’ belongings, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service throughout each move. Your expertise in driving a Luton van combined with strong communication skills will help make every relocation smooth and stress-free. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving skills and physical strength make a real difference.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including large vans or Luton vans, to transport furniture and household items to designated locations.
Load and unload items with care, utilizing heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled timelines.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times, procedures, and any potential delays.
Assist with tasks such as inventory management, packing, and organizing goods for transport.
Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are maintained.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or removals driver, with a strong track record of safe driving is advantageous but not essential.
Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent commercial driving license.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly.
Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving.
