We are a busy Practice in Reading looking after 17,00 patients, we are looking to recruit two parttime receptionist's to join our front of house.

Are you a people person? Do you have a good sense of humour? Are you looking for a challenge? Do you like helping others? Are you able to work up to 21 hours a week? If you can answer yes to all of these then you may be the person that we are looking for.

The successful candidate’s will be the first point of contact for our patients and will need to have strong communication skills with a friendly and professional manner, both in person and on the telephone.

You will be working in a very busy environment but will be an important member of a friendly and supportive team, where you will assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and effective way. You will need to be able to multitask whilst remaining calm.

The hours are part-time, but we do expect flexibility to work additional hours to cover for holidays or sickness cover when required. Working hours will be based on shifts, each position consisting of a mixture of both mornings and afternoons, morning shifts start at 8am - 1-1.30pm, afternoon start at 1pm finishing at 6.30pm and the contacted hours of 21 hours per week.
