Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. This role involves delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites. This position offers an opportunity to develop your craft within a supportive environment committed to professional growth.

Duties

Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Applying paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision and care
Estimating materials and labour requirements for each project to ensure timely completion
Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality
Communicating effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
Ensuring all work areas are kept safe, clean, and organised throughout each project
Assisting with colour consultations and providing advice on decorating options when required

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or similar roles
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between sites
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the trade
A professional attitude with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship

Pay: £120.00-£130.00 per day
