Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Site Porter to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across our premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in commercial cleaning or janitorial work to contribute to a professional setting. The Site Porter will play a vital part in supporting the smooth operation of our site through effective cleaning, waste management, and general upkeep.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning duties across various areas of the site, including offices, corridors, and communal spaces
Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied and areas remain tidy
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report needs for replenishment
Assist with setting up and clearing event spaces or meeting rooms as required
Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to during all cleaning activities
Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the appropriate department
Support with light manual handling tasks such as moving furniture or equipment when necessary

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is advantageous
Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively
Good organisational skills and reliability are essential for this role
