Role: Yard Operative
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (OT available)
Location: Bardon Hill Coalville

We're looking for a Yard Operative/Production Operator who will support production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.

Role Responsibilities

Label products accurately in line with company standards
Monitor production processes, replenishing supplies as required
Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and counterbalance trucks to move products within the facility
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
Conduct equipment checks and report any faults, malfunctions, or safety concerns

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
Proven ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, including PPE requirements
Awareness of risks associated with hazardous chemicals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (face-to-face, Teams, and telephone)
A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
