Dental Receptionist Opportunity – Be the Welcoming Face of Our Friendly Team

Wollaton Dental Care is looking for a warm, approachable and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our busy and friendly practice team.

Our reception team plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for our patients and supporting the smooth running of the practice. We are a busy environment where there is always something happening, but we believe that work should be enjoyable too. We are looking for someone who will bring a positive attitude, a friendly smile and a willingness to support their colleagues.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, building relationships with patients and being part of a close knit team. You will be someone who is approachable, calm under pressure and happy to get involved wherever needed to help the day run smoothly.

About the role

Your day will be varied and will include:

Being the welcoming first point of contact for our patients, both in person and over the telephone
Supporting the team to ensure the practice runs efficiently throughout the day
Booking, amending and managing patient appointments
Handling telephone calls and patient enquiries with professionalism and warmth
Responding to emails and completing general administrative tasks
Managing private patient membership plans and related administration
Using dental software, Windows and Microsoft Teams to support communication and organisation
Working closely with dentists, dental nurses, therapists and the wider practice team

About you

We are looking for someone who:

Is friendly, approachable and enjoys interacting with people
Understands the importance of excellent patient care and a welcoming environment
Works well as part of a team and is willing to support colleagues
Can remain organised and positive in a busy setting
Has good communication skills and a professional but personable manner
Is confident using IT systems and happy learning new software

Previous dental experience would be an advantage, but the right attitude, personality and willingness to learn are just as important to us.

Pay: £13.13-£14.28 per hour
