Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the appearance and durability of various surfaces. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating inviting, professional environments for our clients. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or other tools
Interpret project specifications and work from sketches or plans to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes
Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout each project, adhering to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to understand their decorating needs and preferences
Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making touch-ups or corrections as needed
Drive company vehicles to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and efficient project execution

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating materials
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or project specifications accurately
Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and clients
Valid driving license with experience in operating company vehicles safely (Driving skills)
Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites and proper handling of decorating tools and materials
Prior experience working in diverse environments that require adaptability and attention to detail
