Full job description

Due to continued business growth, Fairtrade Vending Ltd is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and organised Office Junior / General Administration Assistant to join our friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a varied office role within a growing SME. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to develop a broad range of administrative and business skills while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

Whether you're looking to start your office career or already have some administrative experience, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a varied administrative position where you'll provide support across many areas of the business. Full training will be provided,

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Processing customer orders
General data entry
Filing and organising company records
Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries
Assisting with stock takes
Carrying out supplier price checks via online supplier portals
General office administration
Supporting other members of the team with day-to-day tasks

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly, positive and approachable
Reliable and punctual
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Willing to learn and develop new skills
Able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a small team
Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems

Essential Skills

Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively

Desirable (but not essential)

Previous administration experience
Experience using Sage Accounts
Experience within a customer service or office environment
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Don't worry if you don't have Sage experience – full training will be provided.
