Overview

Offset Print & Packaging, part of the Alzamora Group, is a well-established, retail packaging manufacturer based in Aylesford, Kent. Employing over 100 personnel in the design, manufacture and distribution of product, Offset Print & Packaging works with major global, blue-chip brands, producing for homewares, cosmetics, food and beverage and home entertainment markets. We are accredited with internationally recognised manufacturing, environmental and quality certifications.

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Key Account Manager to join our team and play a key role in developing and growing relationships with our most valued customers.

As the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key accounts, you will be responsible for building strong, long-term partnership, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving business growth. Working closely with internal departments, you will ensure customer requirements are met while identifying opportunities to increase revenue, improve account performance, and support the delivery of business objectives.

The successful candidate will have excellent relationship management and communication skills, a proven track record in B2B account management or sales, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A proactive, commercially aware approach and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences are essential.

Main responsibilities and Duties:-

Maintaining and developing relationships with current key accounts.
Own and deliver the commercial strategy for assigned key accounts.
Identify new business opportunities including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
Possess a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition in the industry and positing.
Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
Manage customer enquiries from the initial receipt of a project brief, working closely with the internal Customer Service team and customers to ensure requirements are understood, communicated effectively, and progressed through to completion.
Associated duties to give total internal support and service to designated, high-profile brands/customers.
Maintaining and developing relationships with current key accounts.
Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.

Skills and Attributes:

Minimum 5 years' proven experience in a sales or key account management role.
Minimum of 5 years' experience within packaging industry is essential.
Demonstrable track record of successfully managing, retaining, and growing key customer accounts.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Proactive in prospecting for new business and expanding existing accounts.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skill, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and delivering profitable growth.
Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
Highly organised, with excellent planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
Full UK driving licence required, as regular travel to customer sites and external meetings is an essential part of the role.
