Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our food service team at Ryanair. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional catering experiences by assisting with serving customers on the till, and maintaining a clean and organised environment. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure that every event or meal service runs smoothly, creating memorable moments for our clients and guests alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, culinary arts, and customer service within a vibrant setting.

Duties:

Serve meals and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner, demonstrating excellent guest services skills
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and serving areas, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
Support delivery drivers with the transportation of catering orders when needed
Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about menu options or event details
Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth operation during service periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or catering environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
Experience as a delivery driver or familiarity with delivery logistics is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
Basic cooking skills and experience with meal preparation preferred
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
Kitchen or culinary experience from hotels or restaurants is advantageous
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
