Youth Worker - The Drop In – 2 x 17.5 hours per week

We are seeking two part-time Youth Workers to join The Drop In, a frontline early intervention service supporting young people aged 13-19.

About the Role:

Working within a dynamic and responsive environment, you will provide triage, brief interventions, crisis support and holistic assessments, helping young people access the right support at the right time.

You will work closely with partners across the Youth Collective to improve outcomes relating to emotional wellbeing, safeguarding, mental health and other complex needs.

About the Candidate:

You will be a passionate and skilled youth work practitioner with experience of supporting young people facing a range of challenges, including mental health concerns, risk-taking behaviours and safeguarding issues.

You will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, a good understanding of youth work practice and safeguarding, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in crisis situations. Above all, you will be committed to placing young people at the centre of your work and helping them achieve positive outcomes.
