Full job description

Are you a skilled operator with a background in manufacturing? Are you looking to expand your skills in the exciting work of beverage production, from blending and mixing to the packaging of top-brand canned drinks? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Hereford Contract Canning is a fast-growing and ambitious contract canning business, proudly partnering with leading drinks brands. Following continued investment and the acquisition of new customers, we are expanding our operations and looking to recruit a new shift of multi-skilled Packaging Operatives to join our Manufacturing Department.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team of Operators, working a Panama Continental Shift pattern, 12 hour shifts, rotating 0600-1800 / 1800-0600.

Key Responsibilities may include:

Safely operate a variety of machinery and equipment within the packaging hall.
Carry out product and can size changeovers in line with standard operating procedures.
Clean in Process (CIP) of all tanks and product mains.
Perform basic maintenance on packaging equipment.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with all food safety and product quality standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
Operate forklift trucks to transport raw materials and finished goods.

Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable.
