Full job description

Join Our Growing Team

Horizon Wiring is looking for a skilled and motivated Wiring Technician to join our production team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work, problem-solving, and producing high-quality bespoke wiring harnesses for a variety of customer applications.

Working closely with our Production and Technical Leads, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality assemblies that meet customer specifications, company standards, and production targets.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Technician, you will:

Manufacture bespoke wiring harnesses to customer specifications and company procedures.
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and build manuals.
Work with Production and Technical Leads to ensure builds are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Complete technician checklists and quality documentation before assemblies are submitted for QC.
Create line inspection reports and build notes to support drawing updates and process improvements.
Use our Flowlens system to record timesheets, tasks, and operational documentation.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Support company productivity goals while maintaining exceptional workmanship standards.

Has experience in electrical assembly, wiring harness manufacture, or a similar technical production environment.
Can confidently read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Has excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Is eager to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Takes pride in maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
