Full job description

Good Day Bakery is looking for a new Full Time Baker to assist our team of busy, lovely, bakers.

Professional pastry experience is preferred and a passion for baking is a must. We are looking for team players and hard workers who love to laugh as well as maintain the highest standards of consistency in their work.

If you have any pictures or examples of your bakes, please include them in your application!

The right candidate will:

Work well in a team, as well as individually.
Be available to work in Bath year round, including school holidays.
Be available to work Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays (with a day off in the week when you work Saturdays), with 7am or 8am starts.
Know a bit about Good Day and our bakes (check out our instagram @gooddaycafe for an idea).
Have keen attention to detail and understand the importance of keeping standards high.
Have experience in a pastry kitchen or high volume food preparation environment.
Be able to do heavy lifting (think lifting sacks of flour, heavy 20L mixing bowls, and cutting big trays of brownies) up and down set of stairs.
