Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our commercial, finance and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations across various departments. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative and organisational skills within a dynamic business environment. The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, proficient computer literacy, and experience in commercial administration.

Duties

Procure materials using Xero software and ensure invoices are checked against POD's
Utilise Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to generate reports, presentations, and correspondence
Produce monthly P&L of accounts for each project
Produce CIS returns to accountants for all subcontractors on a weekly basis
Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate smooth processes and workflow
Maintain organised filing systems for electronic and paper documents
Support invoicing and billing processes using Xero or similar accounting software
Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative procedures and workflows

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software
Experience with Xero or other accounting/ERP systems is required
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Demonstrable experience in commercial administration or general administrative roles
Good IT literacy and computer skills across various platforms
Ability to manage time efficiently whilst handling multiple responsibilities
Customer service orientation with a professional attitude
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
