The Role
We are looking for a Finance Apprentice to help support the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation while studying towards a finance apprenticeship qualification.

In this role, you will gain experience across a range of finance functions including purchase ledger, sales ledger, expenses processing, finance systems administration, and general financial administration.

Key duties will include:

Processing expense claims, journals, and internal recharges.
Supporting finance system administration and handling finance queries.
Managing finance inbox queries and distributing emails appropriately.
Processing EPOS till receipts and maintaining accurate records.
Assisting with other finance administration tasks as required.

You will also be expected to attend training, complete assignments, and maintain progress within the level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship programme.

About You
You will have 5 GCSEs at grades A–C (including English and Maths) or equivalent experience, meet the requirements for a level 3 finance apprenticeship, along with a strong interest in developing a career in Finance.

We are looking for someone who is:

Motivated to learn and develop professionally.
Numerate with excellent attention to detail.
Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Confident using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
Able to manage workloads and meet deadlines.

Previous administration or customer service experience and awareness of public sector finance would be advantageous.
